About Sassafras
Our business was born out of necessity and quickly developed into a passion for the craft of soapmaking. We started Sassafras out of a need for soap without harsh additives. We were constantly looking for products that were gentle for sensitive skin and we realized that the only way we could control the ingredients was to make the products ourselves.
This is a very small business. It is completely staffed and managed by two people, Jane and Nadine. We are committed to making our products in small batches so we can properly control the quality of our soaps and other bath and home products.
